Catherine Bell, a tall and athletic actress was born in London, England. However she emigrated to Los Angeles, California with her mother when she was a young kid. While she planned to pursue a degree in pre-medicine at college, she left in pursuit of the career of a model in Japan. After a few commercials, her return to L.A. to made guest television appearances as well as do a little film work. She was Isabella Rosellini's nude body-double in the film The Death of Her in 1992. It led the actress to get acquainted with her future husband (Adam Deason) on the film's set. The spark for her interest came from small appearances on the NBC drama JAG. She joined JAG in 1996 after it changed from the network to CBS. The role she played was that of Major Sarah"Mac" Mackenzie. David James Elliott is Commander Harmon "Harm Rabb". Her real-life skills as a snowboarder and kickboxer inspired her to take on physically difficult parts in action movies such as Men of War Crash Dive as well as Black Thunder.
