Ani Difranco

Angela Maria Ani DiFranco (born Angela Maria Ani DiFranco) is an American and Canadian artist and singer. Her catalog includes more than twenty albums. Her music is categorized as alternative rock, folk rock, but it also has hints of jazz and hip-hop. Ani Difranco has been deemed to be a feminist hero and a Grammy award winner. In the beginning, as one of the early female musicians in the 1990s, DiFranco founded her own record label. DiFranco was born on September 23, 1970 in Buffalo, New York. She is the daughter of Elizabeth (Ross), who came across Dante Americo DiFranco while studying at Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Her mother hails from Montreal and her father is of Italian origins. 32 Flavors is a hit song that was written by and performed by Ani DiFranco. The song debuted on her 1995 sixth album Not a Pretty Girl. It was featured on the soundtrack of 1999's Canadian romantic film Better Than Chocolate is a variant of this track. In 2013, DiFranco apologized after it was revealed that she was hosting an event for three days at a former Louisiana slave plantation. Even though she canceled the event several individuals (including the authors of our article) didn't feel any guilt. DiFranco apologized for her mistake a couple of days afterwards. The singer is well-known for her Little Folksinger music, but she's worked with many artists and genres including Pete Seeger to Chuck D. The singer hails from New Orleans. Ani has the name Kristen Ford. Within 14 years, she had begun making her own songs. They were performed in coffee shops and bars throughout her teenage years. DiFranco began taking courses in Buffalo State College at age 16 after graduating from Buffalo Academy for Visual and Performing Arts. Her new baritone is custom-built by Alvarez guitar, designed by Chrys Johnston, who at the time was an Alvarez artist rep.
