Born Kellie Dawn Pickler in June 28, 1986 Pickler experienced a turbulent childhood. As a toddler the mother of her fled from an violent relationship. In 1995, she was returned into the world of Pickler and was granted the custody rights. The situation did not work out as expected. When Pickler aged 12years old, the court transferred her to her grandparents, whom she grew up until adulthood. Pickler was too busy raising her children in the absence of their parents. She revealed that she was no longer able to read and began learning how to be a homemaker in her early years. Pickler was a cheerleader in the middle and high school she attended. North Stanly High School was where Pickler graduated from in 2004. Pickler was also a tryer as a model. The name she was given was Miss Stanly County.
