Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise, an American actor and writer, is most famous for her role as Ginger Grant on the television show Gilligan's Island in 1960s. In the 1950s she began her career as an actress on stage in Bettle Davis' musical Two's Company. In the 1950s, she appeared as a stage artist in several Broadway plays before breaking through into national fame with the release of Li'l Abner' in 1957. In 1957, she launched her first album of music named It's time to Tina. Louise first appeared in Hollywood in the role of Griselda Walden, in God's Little Acre, a film from 1957 that was a dramatic. This film became a big hit and Louise got the Golden Globe Award at the New Star of the Award category. She was enrolled at Actors Studio, New York in the same time and was Lee Strasberg's pupil. Another notable character she played as Ginger Grant, which CBS hired her to play in the year 1964. Louise had a successful career in Hollywood and Broadway, playing somber characters in order to dispel her image as a glamorous doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The series also featured her in the role of Helen Magnus in Sanctuary although over the past few years, she also has made a name for herself as a director who has been successful in several well-known television series including Supernatural or The 100. Born in Essex Ontario, on the 27th August, 1965. Her family relocated to Toronto at the age of three. She spent her childhood there as well as her adolescence. Samantha Carter settled in Vancouver and Canada, following her decision for the lead role.
