Selena Gomez - an international actor and singer - has become well-known worldwide. The Disney film Wizards of Waverly Place was one of her most viewed projects. Her full name is Selena Marie Gomez. The full title is Selena Marie. Amanda Cornett, and Ricardo Gomez are her parents. Selena's mother was just 16 years old when she was born. At the age of 9 Selena was able to make her first job in the showbiz industry when she played Gianna in Barney and her Friends. Selena Gomez was cast in the role of Julie as Julie in Walker Texas Ranger Trial by Fire and also appeared on Mini Spies 3 in 2003. Also, she was offered the role of Emily Grace Garcia in the 2005 Brain Zapped program for which she wrote a song.
